Dos de Mayo is a two player war game or area control game, in which one player takes control of the Spanish forces in Madrid rebelling against the French occupation.
The game is driven by each player writing down their orders and then revealing them, making it reasonably close to a “real time” game. Each side in the game, the Spanish and the French, presents an entirely different challenge due to the massive imbalance in the forces.
As well as being a great two player game, Dos de Mayo comes in small box with a short (20 minute) playing time, making it ideal to take to work and play over lunch!
