404: Law Not Found

3DTotal’s first full featured board game, ending very soon on Kickstarter!

After the success of Prime Wars 3DTotal teamed up with designer Gregory Carslaw to develop a more ambitious game in the form of 404: Law Not Found. Gamers who enjoyed action programming in Space Alert, imagehidden roles in Discworld: Ankh-Morpork and the emergent chaos of Space Station 13 will find plenty to love in this world of malfunctioning AIs.

404: Law Not Found features incredible artworks by Ludwin Schouten and player models based on character designs by Charley Carlat. The game has already undergone hundreds of hours of playtesting and prototypes are currently being reviewed. We’ve worked closely with playtesters to perfect the game play and the rules still remain open leaving room to include feedback from our backers and exciting stretch goals. A copy of 404: Law Not Found only requires a £28 kickstarter pledge and ships free to the US and EU.

About the game:

It is a truth universally acknowledged, that lovers of Pride and Prejudice want to marry Mr. Darcy. Marrying Mr. Darcy is a strategy card game where players assume the role of female characters from Jane Austen’s novel Pride and Prejudice. Players try to to earn points and attract the attention of available suitors by attending events and improving their characters. However, you may gain advantage over your rivals by the use of cunning. All of their efforts are in hopes of marrying well and becoming the most satisfied character at the end of the game!

Marrying Mr. Darcy recreates the circumstances of the novel where a young ladies’ future could only be secured by marrying a suitable husband. The mechanics combine a combination of role-playing and strategy, with a push-your-luck scenario at the end of the game when the suitors propose. Players’ strategy is affected by events in the book, such as who asks you to dance at the ball, Mr. Bingley leaving unexpectedly for London, and a possible elopement with Mr. Wickham. It aims to appeal to Jane Austen fans, gamers, and high school English teachers who need to trick students into reading the book.

So after you've gone through to the sitting room, set up the card table and enjoy the camaraderie and competition of a round of Marrying Mr. Darcy!

Lost Games

A strategic and economic board game for 3-6 players. Build the best Castle.

CASTLE RISING is a German-style board game, for 3-6 players. The goal of the game is to set up your economic strategy to create the most prosperous kingdom.

Keeping in mind this aim, we will have to manage the resources using several units that will collect them and also a trend setting bidding system that involves all players at a time.

Castle Rising Overview

You can back Castle Rising on Kickstarter by following this link or check out the video below.

Keep the Crown

In Keep the Crown players take turns putting pieces on the board trying to earn points with sets of coins and gems. Special pieces such as the Wizard and the Thief each possess unique powers to assist in this task. The crown is awarded to the point leader at any given moment and then the leader's challenge is to keep it. The board slowly fills up, and when it's full, the player with the crown wins!

The game's simple set-collection mechanism appeals to players of all ages, whereas its tile placement and hand management strategies are heralded by more serious gamers. The game's complete rulebook and demo videos can be found on its website: www.KeepTheCrown.com.

All in a standard box. Components/art not final -- but close!

Waning Gibbous Games

Heist-themed card game LARCENY live on Kickstarter!

Waning Gibbous Games is a new indie game design company, and we’ve launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund our first game: Larceny! A new take on the party game formula, Larceny combines the fun and fast play of games like Apples to Apples and Cards Against Humanity with the grounded planning and creativity of pulling off the perfect heist.

Larceny includes multiple game modes beyond the basic play. Whether you like a simple party game, a storytelling game, a cooperative mode or a team vs. team heist, Larceny has you covered.

Larceny has been taken as far as possible without crowdfunding. Art and prototypes have been created and extensive playtesting undertaken but a full print run will require public interest and support. That’s where Kickstarter comes in! At an estimated $25 MSRP, the $20 price tag on Kickstarter (including free shipping!) is a steal.

With multiple game modes packed in the box, trick cards with multiple functions in the deck, and a unique theme, Larceny is a great addition to any gaming collection. Ryan Metzler of The Dice Tower said “Larceny is an engaging game of creativity that stimulates the imagination,” while Tabletop Gaming News proclaimed, “More engaging than most party games, Larceny brings out the gangster in all of us.”

Larceny is currently funding through Kickstarter until October 11th. For more information, gameplay videos and to contact the creator directly, visit the campaign site: http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1999572498/larceny
